Feminists like me have been fighting for women to show up how they want for over 50 years. No woman has to like another woman’s choice. Each of us, however, get to follow the path that pulls us.

Retrograde seasons often resurrect old themes.

Sweeney’s situation is nothing new.

Talked about this before but it is important. Was managing editor to a women-owned and run soft-core site of strippers. Many of them were famous on the strip club circuit and made serious money. The site was one of the first subscription sites to make money on the Web. The owner and creator, a gorgeous, petite dynamo made the front page of the Wall Street Journal, inside of USA Today (with me in a picture with her that I still have), and she was interviewed by CNN, our offices filmed.

Every time I see a women taking risks, making “bad” choices according to society’s rules, and taking care of what she needs in the process, I know what’s coming next.

After Sweeney’s nearly-nude ad for the sports betting app Novig sparked outrage, she said the concept was “simple: cut through the noise and put the focus entirely on sports. The campaign brings that idea to life with confidence, humor, and a playful edge.” Business Insider

Instincts are underrated.

The connection between instincts and truth is primal. Our gut reaction, experienced through the Vagus Nerve, is the signal.

What kind of signal? Depends on a person’s purpose.

Lies derail instincts with the help of the all-purpose ego.

For over 2,000 years, humanity searched for life’s meaning through religion and the holy books which are the foundation of these institutions. Sex scandals, hypocrisy, greed, ambition, and twisting religion to control people, while refusing to aid the poor. The Church as an institution has failed.

This betrayal opened the door for generations of all ages to find a new way to meet God.

Astrology was a fascination — might say a healthy obsession — for Carl Jung. Marsilio Ficino utilized astrology in his medical care for a Medici.

The first science suffers from over analysis. Astrology is not meant to be predictive and it is not. Synchronistic? Absolutely.

Experience tops astrology.

Humans, however, benefit from the mythology of God’s Universe, especially around eclipse season. As long as instincts take priority over astrological minutia.

Beyond scientific materialism there is phenomenology.

The “Men of the Manosphere” doc by Justin Theroux on Netflix is interesting.

What is important about the documentary is further confirmation of the world-wide anxiety of boys and men.

So far, the answer seems to be controlling their lives by finding women too stupid to understand they will be left penniless if they do not have a contract with their male partner.

Women’s equality is at the heart of the manosphere around the world. It is also at the heart of Christian nationalism, and TPUSA, sweeping the American right.

Talarico represents new energy, especially where Christian politics is concerned. So, why is everyone so fixated on him? He threatens the religious status quo by directly contradicting the theocratic hardliners bent on changing America into what we are not.

The one disagreement we have is the politics of love Talarico talks about.
