Annette Hudson lives with her husband, Christian in the suburbs of Perth, Western Australia. She is a proud Sandgroper who loves her sunburnt country.

The writing bug struck at age five, when she wrote a 35 page story about the Easter Bunny. It was awesome - you’d have loved it. It’s since been lost to the sands of time so you’ll have to take her word for it.

Sandfire is her debut novel but she plans to do several sequels, and a movie deal isn’t out of the question either. Whether or not Hollywood is on board with that is an entirely different matter.

This crazy ride has just taken off and I'm loving every moment of it!

I've always dreamed of becoming an author - it was listed as my ambition in my high school year book. Even though it hasn't been the fairytale (agent + big publisher + lots of sales = cocaine and hookers), that doesn't take away the feeling of satisfaction I have.
