Influences

A writer and filmmaker based in central Illinois, Kevin Lau has worked on projects such as the TV series Fargo and The Carbonaro Effect, as well as features including Black Mold (Tubi), Revealer (Shudder), Rising Phoenix (Netflix), and Visage Entertainment's first feature Brim. He also produces The Filmographers Podcast, hosted by comic book writer Michael Moreci and novelist Keir Graff.

Kevin’s upcoming projects span multiple mediums, but his philosophy remains the same: Tell stories that not only mean something, but also execute them in a way that sparks empathy and discussion.
