Robin
And then a Robin,
through the open front window alight
on a rail
in the morning
sun, earth
orange and grey, who
curved her neck, looking
back from where she’d flown,
as if to say, contrary
to appearances, I’m
somewhere else.
On the face of it this simple description looks like, well, a Robin that just happened to light on a little porch rail one morning directly in view. So I just described what I saw, Read more of this blog post »
