Joey Willis began writing for people at age fifteen, when he habitually snuck out of his parents’ house at two in the morning to deliver devotionals to the doorstep of his closest friends.

Joey has served as a youth pastor in Texas and Tennessee. He has a passion for young people and the stories they are living. In 2013, Joey traveled the world as a Christian missionary, serving twelve countries on four continents. During this experience, he was challenged to write more and has been pursuing a career in storytelling ever since.

Joey loves to travel, visit batting cages with his brother, memorize Scripture, play games and read. He spends his days living and dreaming with his wife, Kylie.

Well, that is how I feel when I write. So, feeling like my whole self is the best part about being a writer.(less)

Most of the things I might say could help someone write more like me. But that's not helpful to anyone but me. If you're a writer, it is already in you. Find it and explore it. Stop worrying about whether or not it is liked and just worry about whether or not it is. (less)
