R.G. Edwards is the author of 'The Eafin Lokdore Trilogy' which is the story of a medieval, orphaned, peasant boy who becomes more than he ever imagined. R.G. Edwards is currently busy talking about and promoting Book III of the Lokdore Trilogy which is NOW AVAILABLE, released June 12, 2025.. Beyond that he is kept busy with, overcoming Parkinson's, his rose gardening, his wife, and one old canine named Leroy.

Edwards, Sr., a mechanical design engineer for the Kendall company, and Jayne Leavell Edwards, on February of 1960 in Bowling Green, KY, USA high upon a hill there within the cities local hospital. His mother was of half-French and half-English decent. Her parents met in 1929 at end of the roaring twenties an R.G. Edwards is the author of 'The Eafin Lokdore Trilogy' which is the story of a medieval, orphaned, peasant boy who becomes more than he ever imagined. R.G. Edwards was born to Roy G. Edwards, Sr., a mechanical design engineer for the Kendall company, and Jayne Leavell Edwards, on February of 1960 in Bowling Green, KY, USA high upon a hill there within the cities local hospital. His mother was of half-French and half-English decent. Her parents met in 1929 at end of the roaring twenties and were wed shortly thereafter. Her mother, Lyda Pickett Leavell, went on to be awarded one of the thousand famous women of Tennessee. Her great, great granddaddy was General George Pickett of civil war notoriety.

Edwards is an only child. As a child, Edwards was from a very early age enamored with a creative flair. He wrote his first song at the age of four, penning his first while strumming a ukulele his father had purchased for him. This after having viewed The Beatles debut on Ed Sullivan Show just weeks prior. At the age of 9, unfortunately his parents went through a divorce. Having resided in Franklin, KY since birth, upon the divorce, he and his mother moved to Donelson, TN and lived with his maternal grandmother. Music and reading quickly became an escape for young Edwards. He delved into much of the popular music at the time, topped by The Beatles, The Rolling Stones, and James Taylor. Art was his first passion, as he loved doing nature paintings, still life paintings, and cartoon figures. Music remained dominant and he began writing a good many songs. Then came his middle-school years and that is when imaginative stories began to draw his interest.

Edwards has shared that during his middle school years he became very excited with fantasy stories. Having come through a difficult period involving his parents divorce he was once again rediscovering happiness. Edwards attended Margaret Allen Elementary in his 4th and 5th grade years where early classic stories first came alive to him; such as Treasure Island, The Hobbit, and Lord of the Rings, to name a few. Edwards has said, "I guess you could say that 'Eafin Lokdore' was inspired from out of my earlier school days, and then later in homeschooling our daughters."
