Cherished Memories

It's that time again - time that I shuffle from expensive Manhattan apartment to expensive Manhattan apartment offering me a new a lease. This means, for me, getting rid of a lot of books. Crossroads of Ravens by Andrzej Sapkowski

My expectations going in were low. Sapkowski, despite being the author of the Witcher books, has been exceeded by the writers of the Witcher games and comics and sometimes it's very hard to return to the inconsistent writing of the original material. ...more

"Don't mock me on my sister's wedding day!"
"I mocked you on yours; I hardly see how this is as bad," was Darcy's reply.”

“I was of course discussing the book of Leviticus. I don't know why your mind is so filthy these days, Bingley.

Janice Happy New Year.

Janice Have a beautiful 1st day of Summer, tomorrow.

Janice Just checked, and all of your hardcopy books, have been withdrawn from the library system, where I've worked for 30+ years, but we do have some e-books. Oh, well...I'll check the used bookstores.

Janice Thank you for friending me. I've been skimming thru your books, that I've checked out from the public library--where I work-- for years. Pride and Prejudice-- and the movies made from it-- has been one of my favorite stories, for years. I plan to start reading your books during the summer. Have a great day.
