message 1: by Kevin

Kevin Trammel I was fortunate recently to attend a presentation which Leslie gave of her book, "Beyond the Weakened Thread." Leslie distributed the beginning pages of her book to members of the audience and then treated us to a wonderfully creative dramatization, ably directing her actors in the performance of the narrative, wherein each played a particular character in the story. I found Leslie's "play" and the manner in which she carried it off inspiring and fun. It was a delight to be present for this enactment of a portion of her book, which revealed a deep understanding of storytelling and a sincere delight in nature and the individual character and awareness of the lovely creatures that inhabit this world along side us. I'm very much looking forward to reading her book.
