Review of Permission to Cheat Collection
Permission to Cheat Omnibus: Bedtime Stories for Naughty Cuckquean Couples by Cora QueenMy rating: 5 of 5 stars
If you knew how ultra straight laced and conservative my background is, you would never expect me to be writing erotica! My bachelors degree is in writing, my masters is in psychology, and I am on my way to becoming certified as a sex therapist.
I have an openness to the many different ways people find to express their sexuality, and have learned to be open to my own "odd" ways of experiencing sexual excitement as well.
I thought I was the only woman in the world who sometimes fantasized about seeing her husband with other women. Not so! Seeing your partner star in your own self directed porno film is not that rare at all!
This series brings together nine short stories in the lives of a couple who decides to let him wander outside the lines of marriage, while she stays faithful and hopes this risky experiment will save her union from that of so many of her cheated-on and now divorced friends.
I can't help injecting the occasional scholarly aside (join my new reading group, "What's Sex Got To Do With It?" if you're interested in science and sexuality) and I can't resist humorous lines. Maybe it's because I'm also so amazed that the girl who stayed a virgin till marriage at age 23 and then went through a decade of celibacy after her husband died is now writing dirty sex scenes! I will be sitting in Starbucks typing and I wonder if people notice my furious blushing.
I hope that, in addition to being dirty, that the writing is good. You decide. They sure were fun to write!

What's sex got to do with it? Answer: everything. Sex is the most fascinating subject in the whole universe. We are each programmed by our unique biology, psychology and experiences toward and away from various forms of sexual expression. As a therapist with a masters degree in psychology, who is working toward professional certification as a sex therapist, and a fledgling erotica writer, this blog will be about exploring scholarly books about sex. There are already some great erotica blogs on Goodreads, many of which I subscribe to, but this will be a bit different. And yes, OF COURSE I hope you'll be curious about my own books and give them a look (free through the kindle select program) but that isn't even the kind of book this blog is about - let's pull our hands out from between our legs just long enough to put on our thinking caps and explore the research on the fascinating subject of sex!
