Cd Cain began her writing adventure a couple of years ago when a story she felt needed to be told awakened in her soul. She had always loved the beauty and culture of the Louisiana bayou which she once called home. So it was here that she began the Chambers of the Heart series. Her goal was to tell the realistic story of a woman accepting who she was among the strict traditions and beliefs of her southern home. She hopes readers will feel the emotions of a woman coming to terms with her own sexuality as well as the effect it will have on her relationship with those closest to her. Hi. Your book shredded me to pieces in the best way possible. You are an amazing writer. I nearly had a heart attack when I saw the date of release because it means waiting at least several months for another book. For that reason I'd like to know: is it the entire series about Rayne and Sam's journey?

Thanks so much for not only taking a chance on a newbie author but for also posting such a sweet comment/question. I am thrilled you enjoyed When It Raynes. Originally the series was designed to revolve primarily around Rayne's journey. However I quickly developed quite the little crush on Sam and realized she simply must be included. So to answer your question, yes I do believe we will learn more and more of their journey! Please no more heart attacks, we can't leave these girls alone to their own devices. ;-)

Hello, my girlfriend and I love your first two books! We recently discovered them and are now hunting for the third, but can't seem to track it down. Is "After the Storm" out already and if so any hints on where to find it? Also it sounds like there may be an additional book in the series which we are super excited about! When is that one expected to be released? Thank you so much!

We are planning on a December release but wouldn't it make one heck of a good birthday present if we could get it out in November? I'm trying to work magic. I just revealed the official cover of After the Storm (the 3rd book) on my website. I also posted an excerpt from the book. I do hope you'll go over and check it out.
