Artist and author on a small island in the PNW, Marlo spends her days creating meditative art and transformative writing meant not just to read, but to use.

Her philosophy is one of creative genius through intentional love. This powerful approach allows readers to release blocks and limitations in creative, compassionate, and enjoyable ways, so they may remember their inherent connection to inspiration and flow states, and achieve profound inner and outer change as a result.

Marlo's unique and practical writing is based on systems she developed over a decade as a working artist and mentor for creatives. ...more

So I sat down and wrote a guide that dealt with every step from being wildly inspired on demand to making a living in a fulfilling way. I made it multiple choice specifically to address individual needs quickly without a huge process.

The idea came from a great need I saw for creatives to have a holistic and practical system so they can really succeed in all ways, regardless of education or circumstances, and really create the inspired life that we seem to crave deep down.

It turned out so well I thought it would be helpful to people on a larger scale, so I sent it to Chronicle and they enthusiastically snapped it up!(less)

As a full-time artist this was disastrous, and it eventually forced me to really sort myself out and learn to understand creative flow (and block).

I now find that because I properly prepare to write before I sit down to write, I'm always ready to flow.

You can read my favourite cures for creative block on my blog or get my system, Create Now!: A Systematic Guide to Artistic Audacity.

A New Era of Transformation

I love decoding reality. I love debugging it. I love breaking it down and seeing if I can put it back together better than before. It’s my greatest passion.

Since I last wrote here, my main goal was to become far more em
