Justice Harvey Brownstone’s Interview

Imagine my shock when I received a message through the Hidden Gold website from an Ontario Criminal and Family Court Judge, Justice Harvey Brownstone.

Here is part of what that message said:
“I recently read Hidden Gold by Ella Burakowski, and was absolutely captivated by this incredibly moving story of the ordeal endured by Ella’s grandmother, mother, uncle and aunt while being hidden in a barn in rural Poland. I believe this book should be mandatory reading for every history student and anyone interested in the Holocaust.”

Justice Brownstone asked if he could interview me.
After doing my due diligence to make sure he was legit, I discovered he in fact has a very impressive list of accomplishments and is a very well-respected judge, author with a show called Family Matters. What an opportunity!

The interview took place through Zoom. With the experience of a compassionate judge, he asked some very difficult and thought-provoking questions. We had good chemistry and he was able to skillfully keep me focused and on topic. It’s a long interview (almost an hour). The best part is, I came out of this with a new friend.

Get comfy, get yourself a bowl of popcorn and cup of coffee or glass of wine and have a listen.
