Hello Dear Readers,

My apologies for my absence. Last year and earlier this year I've had some health issues to attend to, and with the time it's taken to recover and regain more of my life's energy, I've fallen behind in my writing. So, in the last two months I've been going through my current project and feel I'm finally back on track. I do apologize but it appears that my next book in the Adventures of Ryes and Garth series, book 7 - Foundations - won't be available until early 2026.

What's going on in your own lives? Are you looking forward to the rest of the holidays of 2025? Let us know what wonderful times you're looking forward to seeing soon!

Think of it this way... you are sitting in your home, the world is turning on its axel, the Earth is circling around the sun, the sun is moving with a group of other suns within our galaxy, and our galaxy is part of a group of galaxies moving… somewhere. So, even standing still, you are still rocketing through space.

Celebrating the fourth book birthday for Striding Forth.
I was so excited with the release of a wonderful story that continued the story arc of The Adventures of Ryes and Garth series. This book cover ended up being something bold with Korman “stunned” and glued upside down to an old, crumbling wall in Matlowe Village. Ryes added the word “Murderer” to his chest with a heavy marker. He’d tried to attack and kill her, while everyone else was distracted, so merely being stunned was a very mild punishment for his actions. The other villagers soon joined in and wrote their own sentiments on his body, too. He did not wake up happy.

The Adventures of Ryes and Garth

This story is a tale of how a young group of spear-carrying village hunters seek to reclaim part of the civilization which had existed upon Tayna for over a thousand years, but it was wiped out over three hundred years before. They want more than a simple existence for themselves. They must face and overcome many challenges in this quest. They learn how to live with, and accept, many different peoples and form a new Alliance of Worlds, as they strive to save the homeworld of one of their allies, from the dark enemy which wiped out Tayna’s civilization so long ago.

Something about Fall just ignites my senses. The change of the seasons reminds us that the world is not static and has amazing new wonders unfolding for us each day.

Now with the summer's heat fading, I hope all of you are enjoying this wonderful change. For those of us living in the Valley of the Sun (Phoenix, AZ) the hundred degree temps are starting to "flutter" and by the end of October, we'll be leaving the 100's behind for the rest of the year. We're all looking forward to that!

This year, I finally get to renew the road trips I used to take with my sister. She taking me on the Blue Ridge Parkway, which winds through three states, and will be resplended with the fall colors. I can't wait!

So plan something fun for yourself. There are so many thing to do and if nothing else, good books to enjoy!!
