I've been writing since I first learned how to write. There's always been this tremendous pressure of words in my head that I have to let out, and it's less annoying when I put them down on paper than if I just tell people. My first professional sale was to FASA, for Earthdawn. Since then, I've done a lot more for Earthdawn, a couple of pieces for Mage: the Ascension, and served as the founding line developer for 1879, a steamweird alt-history game, for eight years, ending in 2020. I've since left gaming, and am working in short and long form fiction these days. My day job is in IT, as like so many writers I'm not making a living from it yet, but there's hope. ...more
