Born and raised in the South East of England, UK, David spent some years in the North East as a young adult before settling back in Essex. He admits to being an unashamed geek and has held many jobs in the IT world, mainly working for the NHS (National Health Service) as a programme and project manager.

His first novel is: The Oui Trip, available now in paperback and ebook formats from various suppliers.

Writing is a passion that has gripped him for many years, and The Oui Trip is his second novel. He is already working on the sequel to The Oui Trip - there's more to be said about Bob and Joan Younghusband, and he will say it.

Good question, and not one wih an easy answer, I have to say. I'm still working on it, in truth. What I am trying to do is build a relationship with some local independant bookstores for a pay-on-sale display. This means the only risk they have is in giving up some shelf space for your book. Of course, you need to be able to trust the owner to support their end of the bargain by giving you the agreed payment if a book sells.

If I crack this particular one I promise I'll let you know.

There are too many words in my head, all jostling for a…moreI have never experienced writer's block, so I suppose that makes me one of the few lucky ones. There are too many words in my head, all jostling for a place on a page, for me to not know what to write. I suppose, if I could provide any advice at all it would be to write something, anything, to get the brain going. A bit like flexing the legs before going on a run - you're not running, but the legs are getting ready to do so. The brain is the same.(less)
