Y’all, y’all, y’all!
I'm hard at work on my new series, Pebble Cove Teahouse Mysteries. I'm loving how they are turning out, but probably the most fun I've had so far was ordering a map for the series! Hanna at The Book Cover Bakery made it for me and now you can see the town of Pebble Cove just like I envisioned it. Each book's map will look slightly different, with the places important to that story marked and highlighted. Here's the map for book one! Read more ...

Januaryay!
As we start a new year, I find myself so incredibly excited for what 2020 will bring and so grateful for my readers' support. Thank you for your messages of support and all the words of mine you've read throughout the year. I thought I'd give you a sneak peek at what's in the works for me this year.
But FIRST ... If you haven't read it yet, A GLAZED FINISH released in November. People are saying it's one of their favorites yet.

Juicy Secrets and Rescue Kittens!
Happy Birthday, America!
I got you something … my new book, A JUICY MURDER!
It’s the perfect July read!
It’s summertime in Stoneybrook and the town is on a juicing kick. Will the fad last after a woman is found strangled in the alley next to the juice bar? Find out in the fifth Stoneybrook Mystery.
This book has summer canning recipes, sunshine, suspects, and rescue kitties! Okay, it’s just one kitten … and she might not technically be a kitten anymore, but I still call my 7 and 8 year old cats kittens so ...

Here’s another thing I do!
Hi. Welcome to the second installment of “Here’s a thing I do.”
In this one, I focus on HIKING!
This picture was taken from the top of Goat’s Peak, a hike in the North Cascade mountains. The structure to the right is a fire watch tower. Fun Fact: it’s one of the last manned towers in the state of Washington. The guy who lives there is named Lightning Bill. He will read you poetry and feed you cookies if you come up into his hut.

New Release!
Guess what? Pepper’s back!
Literally Stalked is officially live! Go get your copy.
Book five in the series is here! I love it so much and I hope you will too.
Here’s the synopsis:
“I love you to death”
Winter quarter of grad school has Pepper living and breathing Brontë sisters. When a body is found near the mysterious mansion on the hill, Pepper is too close to the victim for comfort… and perhaps the killer.
Pepper’s interest in the case becomes an obsession when Alex is threatened. Between mysterious notes, long-buried secrets, and that feeling someone is watching, Pine Crest starts to feel a whole lot like the gothic moors of Wuthering Heights. The line between love and obsession is as thin as a knife’s blade—literally—and it’s up to Pepper to find the killer before they strike again.
As you’ll find out in the back of this book, the sixth book will be the last in Pepper’s series. Here’s a peak at the cover.
Eeeeeee! I’m so excited. As you can tell from the cover, Pepper is heading to England! The next mystery is all about Dickens (yes, I saved my very favorite classic author for last), but other than that, I won’t give out any spoilers. Literally Finished should be hitting your ebook shelves next year! Stay tuned for more information.
In the meantime, I’ll be working on more books in the Stoneybrook Mystery series AND a few fun chick lit books. I Pick You is up first, so look for that this summer. Thanks for stopping by!
Moody, broody, and wonderful

Did you know?
Each time I publish an audiobook, I get codes to give out so people can listen to the book for free? The only thing I ask for in return is that you leave an honest review on Amazon and Audible to help other prospective buyers. That’s it!
Did you also know that I’ve had a bunch of new audio release over the past few months???

The first three of the Stoneybrook mysteries are now available in audiobook. If you’re interested in listening to any (or all) of these, let me know.
Also, today marks the release of this little beauty! After a hitch or two with another narrator, Rainbow finally joins the others in the series on audio. Kelsey does such an awesome job voicing Rainy’s story. I love this book and loved listening to her bring it to life.
Let me know if you’re interested in codes for any of these. You can email me at erynwrites@gmail.com!

Coming Up!
I don’t know about you, but I kinda rolled into 2019.
And no, that’s not roll as in I’m on a roll, but more of a barely rolling out of bed kind.
I felt sluggish and easily overwhelmed. BUT now that it’s April

Here’s a thing I do!
Can I be honest with you?
There’s a lot I don’t know how to do. A lot. And even though I consider myself a learner, there are a few things which–to this day–intimidate the snot out of me. (Is that a saying? It’s a really odd one, if so.)
Things Eryn definitely doesn’t understand:
Engines – I’ve tried. Well, that’s not completely true. What I try is to not let my eyes glaze over within the first five seconds of every time my husband tries to explain to me how they work. And it’s not just cars. One time there was something wrong with one of the motors in the air-blower in my classroom. When I asked the maintenance guy what was wrong with it, he told me it was the flux capacitor. I definitely believed him, even going as far as to say, “Whoa, I didn’t realize that was a real part!” I’m convinced I’m still the butt of a story he tells people.

Secret Reasons
I’m sure most of you have seen this letter from E.B White circulating around the Internet …
I LOVE IT.
Recently I’ve dealt with some health issues because of stress. 99.99% of the stress was stuff I had control over, stuff I’d signed up for. I said yes WAY to much–like almost exclusively–even when it didn’t make sense, I knew I shouldn’t, or I didn’t want to. So I’ve been trying to say no more the past couple of years.
You know what I’ve found? It’s HARD to say no.
Sometimes–especially when you’re a person who people expect to say yes–it gets downright awkward after you say no. Sometimes people keep pushing until you say yes. Sometimes they get mad.
I don’t want to lie, but sometimes it’s really hard to say, “I just don’t want to.”
Enter: THIS letter!
