I just found out someone actually published a book called "Granny Grifters!" It is a true story about tow elderly women who took out insurance policies on homeless men and then killed them in California. Whoa! Truth is stranger than fiction!

Granny Grifters is progressing and I am very pleased with the storyline thus far. I think people will really enjoy it! Not sure about the title though. I am thinking now it will be called just "Granny Grifters." If anyone has any thoughts, please let me know. You can see my previous post but it is about three elderly woman who traverse the country bilking folks out of money in second rate casinos throughout the nation.

I just started work on my new book which has a working title of "Grandma Grifters" although I think the final title will be something different. I think it should be pretty funny...or at least I hope. It will be about a group of elderly women who swindle folks and casinos out of money and perform other questionable tasks. Our main character will be brought into this web and will need to make some moral decisions. My plan is to make it laugh out loud funny but also to question your preconceived notions of the elderly, how we often prejudge them and whether our moral evaluation of people may be swayed by their age. It is sure to be interesting and it is still unfolding. Not sure if anyone is reading my blog yet but if so, I would love to hear your thoughts about the idea.

In support of other indie authors, I am going to pledge that my next 6 book purchases will be from indie authors. I must admit I am a little hesitant to write a review if I do not like the book though. What if people don't like my book? Oh well. I certainly want honest reviews. Finishing up reading my current book so almost time to pick one!

I am so happy to have released my new novel "My Name is Della and I'm Dead." Even though I wrote it, it still makes me laugh! But then again, too many things make me laugh! Life is pretty funny if you let it be. I hope you will check the novel out! It is a quick light read...perfect for the beach. Some people have called it Chicklit. What is a gay middle aged (gasp) man doing writing Chicklit humor novels? (That is a gasp that I am now calling myself middle aged by the way.) Beats me! Well, truthfully I think I have a lot in common with my female friends. However, some men have told me they really enjoyed reading it too..so there. I have a lot in common with my male friends too..lol.

Sales so far have been decent on the paperback front but a little sluggish on the e-book front. Always looking for new people to write unbiased reviews...and am giving away 3 paperback copies this week. Enter the Giveaway if you haven't already.
