Kate Reedwood is a Canadian speculative fiction author best known for the Mall Priest series, co-written with Australian author Chris Heinicke and published under their independent brand, KC Stories. A classically trained writer and artist, she holds a Bachelor of Arts degree from the University of Guelph and a diploma in Classical Animation from the world-renowned Sheridan College.

Her fiction blends humor with supernatural thrills, often rooted in the neon-soaked nostalgia of the 1980s—an era before cell phones, when a broken-down car on a back road could spell real trouble, and movies like Ghostbusters ruled the screen.
