I was born in the old Steelhouse Lane gun making quarter of Birmingham to a Welsh mother and Cornish father.The family moved back to Cornwall when I was three and I was educated at a local Public School .
I went up to the University of Hull in 1967 to read Life Sciences and met and married my wife there.
After graduating I held a variety of jobs, as Fisheries Biologist in the declining years of the Hull fishing industry, teaching in secure units for disturbed adolescents, and finally Diver medic first in the North Sea and then in distant water fields. Salvage

Finally we are getting to the point of releasing the long awaited sequel to Divers so all those people who were left thinking 'so what the hell happened then' will finally get an answer. Sorry to have been so long. Life gets in the way,but the new one, the third in the series called the Night watch (sorry Rembrant couldn't resist) will be out in three months or so.
