Mike Iora is a physician, entrepreneur, and writer — the creator of the epic fantasy universe of Herannon. Today, he continues to expand the vast world of Herannon — at a slower pace — while balancing his creative work with his medical and business careers, establishing himself as a notable voice in contemporary Brazilian epic fantasy.

Mike Iora é médico, empresário e escritor, criador do universo de fantasia épica Herannon. Nascido em 1981, em Ijuí, Rio Grande do Sul, é formado em Medicina pela UFCSPA e tem formação em Engenharia Civil pela UFRGS. Entre cálculos, diagnósticos e gestão empresarial, encontrou na escrita o caminho para dar vida a mundos imaginários complexos e personagens densos.

Desde a adolescência, sempre foi apaixonado por literatura fantástica. Em 1999, inspirado por O Senhor dos Anéis e O Silmarillion de J.R.R. Tolkien, criou o mundo de Herannon, cenário de sua série literária As Crônicas de Herannon, que mistura elementos de fantasia medieval com dramas mundanos e verossímeis — uma fantasia brasileira com identidade própria.

Ao longo dos anos, escreveu fan-fictions ambientadas na Terra-média e, incentivado por amigos, iniciou sua produção original. Seu trabalho se destaca por unir alta fantasia e construção de mundo profunda, evitando o maniqueísmo clássico em favor de personagens falhos, realistas e emocionalmente críveis.

Publica de forma independente desde 2015, com os livros O Aprendiz do Arquimago e O Filho Perdido. Em 2015, ano de publicação de seu primeiro romance, foi autor convidado da 23ª Feira do Livro de Ijuí.
