She is the author of Grace on the Ledge, a memoir of her childhood growing up in the ’60s and later caring for her mother after a stroke, and Grammy’s Eyes, a children’s picture book about a family adapting to changes caused by a stroke. A retired teacher, she became a certified yoga instructor in 2017. She leads vinyasa practices and vipassana meditations. She and her husband love visiting their grown children on both coasts and are completely in love with their new granddaughter.
