Chilean Historian. He is best known for his works in Social History, his analysis about the mass movements in Chile (specially, the students protests in 2006 and 2011-2012) and obtaining the Chilean National History Award in 2006.

He is regarded as one of the founders and most important authors in Chilean Social History.
