In Civvy Street, I am a partner in a small recruitment company, but write to keep the chaps with the oversize butterfly nets from the front door.

I, along with my teacher wife and two crazy children, live in a rather plain red-brick house nestling in the middle of the Aire Valley, ten miles west of the city of Leeds. The facade may be plain, but in reality nothing at all is plain about Fraser Towers! Be it the ghostly knocking on the walls, bodiless footsteps across the kitchen floor, cries from the cellar and, the scariest of them all, the ghost of the crooked old man pleading to escape from an upstairs bedroom!

Absolutely Location, Location, Location for my keyboard and I – but please spare a thought for my poor, longsuffering family!

And, not only will the sequel see a welcome return of the 'Apperley Adventurers', but it will also again showcase the beautiful Yorkshire countryside - although, this time from a more 'bucket and spade' perspective!(less)
