I write books for teenage girls. My books are about school and friends and boys and staying out of trouble and sometimes getting into it!

For many years I worked as a lawyer but I gave it up to stay at home and look after my four children and whilst I was waiting outside dance school and swimming pools and gym club I started writing stories.

As well as writing I like making cakes and going on exciting holidays and tying myself in knots in yoga classes.

I live in Yorkshire, England with my husband and my children and Merlin the cat.

Sometimes I have to start a new chapter or scene in the book and then go back to the bit that I was having trouble with. Often the solution to the problem comes to me when I'm thinking about something completely different.(less)
