Happy First Day of School!

Summer is officially over.

I survived.

Barely. But I did it.

WE did it!

Granted, the wine was flowing freely once the kids fell asleep but there was no way to avoid that. It was simply for the sake of my sanity.

Somehow, in between Cabernet, refraining from selling my kids to the highest bidder, and hours spent in the pool, I managed to almost, ALMOST finish Falling Over. I'm in the home stretch, my friends. Fifty or so pages left. So just hold on to your Spanx a little longer! It's coming. And it's coming hard and oh so good.

In the mean time, the first 2.5 books of the Falling In series are waiting to be read and reviewed so if you haven't done so, get on that ish, yeah?

Alright, that's it for tonight. The husband is patiently waiting for me to finish up so we can continue our CW DC show catch-up.

How adorable are Grant Gustin and Carlos Valdes? Like seriously. I just want to squeeze them. And don't even get me started on Stephen Amell aka my Cole Adams. I'd like to do a little more than squeeze that man ...

Just kidding, hubs.

Mostly. ;-)

LOL. Much love, my homies.

Random Ramblings on Wine Wednesday.

It's that time again, my friends. Happy Wine Wednesday!

So many things to talk about ...

One. I am kinda nailing this whole blog thing. I mean, yeah, it hasn't been every week but it's nearish so I'm gonna count that as a wine. Hah! I mean win.

Two. Mosquitoes are assholes and they can suck it. My husband and I took our four beautiful monsters camping last week ...yeah, we may have lost our damn minds but it actually ended up being a pretty amazing trip. EXCEPT for that damn mosquitoes. I swear, we were all bitten no less than 30 times each. My legs look terrible! I think I may have to Alexa an industrial sized tub of hydro-cortisone or find some kind of essential oil for itchy-scratchies.

Three. I am in desperate need for reviews and readers but I can only tackle one thing at a time ...well, that's a lie, I tackle about million things at once--mama of four boys here--but I'm gonna focus on the review aspect of my exciting but frustrating attempt at being an author. So, I need reviews. Badly. But then, I got to thinking ...I read at least one book a week, sometimes two, and although I always rate them, I've been seriously slacking on posting reviews and I realized how hypocritical I was being. Here I am, Debbie Downer about how few reviews I've received, and I haven't posted a review in years. YEARS, homies. Well, that ends now. I'm going to make a vow to myself and the amazing authors out there killing the game, that not only am I going to continue blogging once-ish a week, I'm going to post a review for every book I read.

Four. Anyone else still watching So You Think You Can Dance? Well, your girl is a loyal fan, has watched every single season. I love dance. I'm a dancer. Well, wannabe dancer but way too old to be doing so. Anyway, I just watched this weeks episode and how damn cute is Allison aka Mrs. Twitch? Like I've always loved her and she's probably the best dancer who has ever been on the show but damn, I completely forgot how freaking adorable she is. And her love of dance ...gah! But honestly, every single all-star is just ....loooooove. Seriously, so much love. I need to write a dance book. It's gonna happen, I swear.

Five. My husband had to go to bed at like 7:30 tonight because of work which is why I'm gracing you with this amazing wine-induced blog.

Six. If you didn't know already, Falling In is now in paperback! What what?!? Here's the link:
http://a.co/7mrz7ip

Seven. I think that's it for now. Oh, wait! Falling Over is seriously falling into place (hah! see what I did there?). I think I can definitely be done by the summer's end and hopefully it will be out in October! Keep those fingers crossed, homies!

I hope you're all having a good night! Talk laters, yeah?

Much love,
Andrea

P.S. What are you guys reading right now? Currently, I'm working through all of Jo Raven's work. I've become obsessed. She has the perfect blend of everything ... humor, alpha male, angst, sexy ...so much sexy. I'm kind of in serious author-love with her.

Yeesh and a half.

Well this is awkward...

I've said it before and I'll say it again and most likely again six months from now ... I suck at Goodreads. Like royally suck. Embarrassingly. Shamefully. Mother effing suck. Which probably explains why I have like ten followers. LOL. But, I absolutely adore those followers so I really can't complain. I just don't know how authors do this ...

Granted, I have four kids, and we were dealing with a deployment plus my oldest was diagnosed with Type One diabetes back in February so we were trying to get a handle on that crazy change. On top off trying to finish writing Falling Over (so close, homies) and well, it's summer time which means I have all FOUR BOYS at home with me on the daily and driving me mad as a hatter but still, I need to get my ish together.

So, this is me, getting my ish together.

Starting from today, I will post at least once a week. Okay, so I'm going to TRY to post once a week. I can't make any promises. My mama didn't raise no liar. Gotta be realistic here. My life is exactly how you would imagine it ...

CenturyLink field loud and just as expensive with the same amount of alcohol cause let's face it, I have four boys and without wine ...oh goodness, I can't even go there. Just the thought is absolutely effing terrifying. Like near-panty-wetting scary. I'm completely outnumbered by penises. And the bathrooms never stay clean no matter how many times you effing clean them.

Seriously though, how does one get toothpaste on the light fixtures? And is it really that hard to get the pee in the damn hole? Must we play around-the-world every time we use the bathroom?

Apparently in my house, the answer is yes, yes we do.

So yeah, summer has been fantastic thus far. Jealous? You know you are!

As for Falling Over, I am hoping to be done by August and the release should be around October ...this is all in theory and dependent on my ish getting seriously together. But, I will keep all ten of you posted. LOL.

Until then, keep reading. Maybe even spread the word a wee bit ...do a little author namedrop and book recommendation to all of your Kindle-sexy-reading hussies. I would greatly appreciate it!

Hope you're enjoying the summer and if you are like me, outnumbered by Minecraft maniacs hellbent on converting me to their Youtube-obsessed dark-side, then I feel you.

I. Feel. You.

Happy Wednesday! Oh shiz! It's wine Wednesday ya'll! Well, then I wish you a VERY (inebriated) Wednesday! ;-) Talk soon.

Much love,
Andrea

Jon Ryan, watch out homie!

Good Monday morning friends!

Holy mother eff, I woke up slightly off-kilter this morning due to the effing mind-boggling Seahawks game last night. I still don't understand what the eff happened there. Like seriously? It's possible my brain exploded just a little bit. BUT although my Hawks did not kick ass (though there was a whole lot of kicking going on last night) like I hoped they would, I kicked (punted) ass at multitasking ...

Intrigued yet?

You wanna know what I was doing while my Seahawks were successfully adding grey hairs to my growing collection no matter how often I pluck them?...

Ready for it?

I FINISHED EDITING THE JAKE AND EVIE NOVELLA!

Say whaaaat? YASSS! Falling into Forever is nearly ready to go LIVE! I am squealing with excitement right now because this novella is everything I wanted it to be. My first two novels were so angsty but with this I got to be silly and adorable but still sexy as Hell! I'm very much in love with the finished product!

I am also looking for anyone who may want to receive an ARC for some honest reviews? I just need a few people. I mentioned it on FB so you can either message me here or there.

ALSO, I have the first draft of my cover available but I need your input. And once we have that all settled, Falling into Forever will happily be on your Kindles!

https://www.facebook.com/indieauthora...

^There is the link to my FB page if you want to message me or see the possible novella cover! WHOOP!

Have a badass Monday ya'll!

Much love,
Andrea

September 30, 2016

As I sit here ...

With my yummy Cabernet, watching quite angrily as the stupid effing Huskies dominate yet another game while my Ducks are floundering about this season and contemplating changing the damn channel because it's giving me anxiety knowing we'll have to play these fools next week ...

I think it's time for some Shondaland in the addicting form of How to Get Away With Murder ...btw who is on that effing gurney? I swear if it's Wes ... Heads. Will. Roll.

I'm rambling ...thanks to my second glass of wine ...but it's a cute ramble, right? I think so. I hope so. Whatever.

Tipsy ramble aside--I am writing tonight to thank everyone who has read/reviewed/ bought/borrowed/even glanced at my novels. I know I say this a lot, but damn, I'm so grateful for my friends and family and new readers for taking a chance on me and for being so effing supportive. Putting yourself ... your words and your imagination out there is scary af but ya'll make it all worth it.

And to the bloggers I have had the pleasure of talking to this week ... Musings of a Romance Junkie, Ana's Attic, Dreamy Romance Book Blog, The Romance Cover, and Loves 2 Read Romance ---you ladies are beyond amazing for just replying to my batshiz messages and somehow agreeing to help this sista out. I'm still kind of in shock to be honest. But so damn thankful and filled with all kinds of loves so thank you.

So yeah, that's what this random blog post is about ... tonight ...this week ... I am thankful. Helps that my kids have been absolute rockstars this week and my husband is ... GAH guys! My husband is like Jake and Cole combined! Encouraging ...reads my books ...checks my rankings ...congratulates me on the slightest bump on said rankings ...convinces co-workers/their wives to read my books ...he's just ...he AND my crazy af boys are my everything.

Yeah, it's been a good week.

Now if only the Ducks, Titans (Go Mariota!) and the Seahawks can win this weekend ...then the week would be near perfect!

A girl can dream ....

Speaking of dreams ... it's my dream to get to Colleen Hoover/Julie Garwood/Sylvia Day status ..buuuuut in order to do that, I need ya'll to read/share/review these badass books of mine! Are you reading yet?

I hope so.

I really really REALLY hope so!

Alright, it's HTGAWM time. Enough rambling for tonight.

Much love,
Andrea

IT'S BACK!

Well after that brief yet stressful hiatus, Falling Out is LIVE again on Amazon! Whew .. thank mother effing goodness!

Soooo, you know what that means ...ya'll now have no excuse NOT to read Falling Out! lol Just kidding ...kinda.

But if you do in fact read this brilliant sequel, would you mind posting a review on Amazon and/or on Goodreads? It would truly help this poor struggling writer gain a broader audience which isn't so easy in the self-publishing world.

I would be forever grateful.

OH! And also feel free to share to your hearts content!

Thank you friends!

Have a good Friday night!

P.S. Mine was just spent watching the newest Ninja Turtles movie with my two oldest boys eyeballing their stupid hot fudge sundae's like they were a juicy steak.

I've recently became a vegan and dang did I regret that decision tonight. Rest assured, I did not falter. But I really really wanted to.

Vegan strong. lol

Annnnnyway, goodnight homies!

Much love,
Andrea

Thank you so much for your patience!
