In DEAD KEEN, there is a medical/psychological mystery at the centre of the plot involving a woman who is self-injuring, but the reasons and triggers are unclear.
As both a former psychotherapist and someone who has struggled with mental health issues, I wanted to pull back the curtain on what is sometimes a mysterious world of diagnosis and treatment.
My passion for this couple and the work they do in mental health kept me fueled!
