Bret Bucci was born August 2, 1988. She grew up in Tarrytown, New York and attended Sleepy Hollow High School, named for Washington Irving's famous tale. After graduating from Quinnipiac University in 2010, Bucci focused primarily on playwriting and had several of her short dramas produced in writing competitions in New York City.
