Heather Jacobsen is a former researcher and writer for the National Academy of Sciences, a women’s health advocate, and adenomyosis conqueror.

Besides science writing, Heather also writes memoir, poetry, and fiction. Her poetry has been featured on PBSNewsHour Online among others. She lives with her husband, two children and three cats in Connecticut.
