Steven M. Bragg's Blog: Auditors Rule

Book Three of the trilogy is about 30% done, assuming that my page target is correct. There are a lot of plot elements to tie up properly, so this may take longer than expected. It definitely will run into next year.

I took a few months off to let The Auditors plot simmer, and have now started the final book in the trilogy. This will probably take the rest of the year to complete, along with a half-dozen passes to clean up the manuscript.

Book Two in The Auditors trilogy has a name - Early Winter. I've completed the basic manuscript, along with three review cycles, and likely have another four review cycles to go. A release in early 2025 now seems likely.

Book Two has reached the halfway point, but I'm planning seven rounds of proofing as well, so that puts me at maybe 20% done. Still, a release date in the middle of 2025 seems likely.

I know, that's an inspiring title, but I really don't know what the title will be - probably something to do with the seasons, so it links up with the first book, Under an Autumn Sun.

At any rate, it felt a bit odd introducing a new character in the first paragraph and then killing her off in the second, but I need her body for later in the book. As you will see...
