A 'couple' who could be classed as my favourite but who are not (yet) actually a couple are Cormoran Strike and Robin Ellacott in the excellent trilogy by Robert Galbraith (J K Rowling) - beginning with 'The Cuckoo's Calling'.
The difficulty posed by the question is in identifying a fictional couple where I like both of them. This is so often not the case! However with the pair I have chosen, I like them both very much. I also find the interaction between them highly entertaining. The characters are beautifully and sensitively drawn by the author, to the point where one actually cares what happens to them.
Would I feel the same if they came together as a couple? It is amusing to ponder on whether there would be the same chemistry, but it would be a delight to find out!(less)

"My least favorite of all Pearson’s books. There is far too much wine—have you ever downed a whole bottle by yourself?

NOTE: Pearson could certainly do with an editor. The hyper-correction of “and I” rather than “and me” after prepositions is more than" Read more of this review »

"I did quite enjoy this silly book but there were many aspects of the characters that were not quite believable. Or if people were acting this way in real life, their behaviour would be questionable.

"Sorry Mr Pearson but you can do better than this.

I've read 86'Fix and Beyond Broadhall and I loved them. But why all the 5 star reviews for this?
I found the book disappointing. Like the illustrations depicted on the outside packaging of ready meals, " Read more of this review »

I was rather disenchanted with this. As usual with Keith A. Pearson, the plot is a really good one, and so I read it to the end.

However. I did not care for the lead character, Kelly. I disliked (a lot) her friend Martha, their inane and crude conver

I couldn't put this down. Keith A Pearson has become one of my favourite authors, and a go-to for an easy read, combining humour with an acute understanding of the problems of daily life.
