Greg was born and raised in the small central Illinois farming community of Paxton (132 miles due west of James Dean's hometown). Mr. Swenson has a background in art and illustration from the American Academy of Art in Chicago, IL (where he saw his first James Dean film). He worked as a layout and paste up artist at a textbook publisher for the University of Illinois before eventually moving on to a highly successful 30 year career as one of St. Louis, MO’s premier florists and event planners. His career earned him many awards and recognitions for his unique and unparalleled talents.
