I never thought I'd get a book out and that the attention would come solely from that, so I was sort of ready to be my own cheerleader, but I have to admit that I am bad at this. I have a Facebook page but it's hard to find. In short: I am the worst at social media, but, like anyone seeing to promote their work, I'm trying. It's all very strange. I'm thinking of starting a reading series in Chicago. Interested in helping/participating? (less)

Jerzy Kosiński
“I am going to put myself to sleep now for a bit longer than usual. Call it Eternity”
Kosinski, Jerzy

Samuel Taylor Coleridge
“Sir, I admit your general rule,
That every poet is a fool,
But you yourself may serve to show it,
That every fool is not a poet.”
Samuel Taylor Coleridge

Kurt Vonnegut Jr.
“To be is to do - Socrates

To do is to be - Sartre

Do Be Do Be Do - Sinatra”
Kurt Vonnegut

Charles Bukowski
“For those who believe in God, most of the big questions are answered. But for those of us who can't readily accept the God formula, the big answers don't remain stone-written. We adjust to new conditions and discoveries. We are pliable. Love need not be a command nor faith a dictum. I am my own god. We are here to unlearn the teachings of the church, state, and our educational system. We are here to drink beer. We are here to kill war. We are here to laugh at the odds and live our lives so well that Death will tremble to take us.”
Charles Bukowski

Gabriela Mistral
“Donde haya un árbol que plantar, plántalo tú. Donde haya un error que enmendar, enmiéndalo tú. Donde haya un esfuerzo que todos esquivan, hazlo tú. Sé tú el que aparta la piedra del camino.”
Gabriela Mistral
