Thomas Hunt's Blog - Posts Tagged "goodreads"
Hello again, Goodreads
I've been away from Goodreads.com for some years. I just returned to my Goodreads profile this morning and learned that in the interim I've written a doctoral dissertation on Catholic schools, a manual for young farmers, a defense of the London charter (which I somehow managed to get published back in the 17th Century!) and an exposé of what occurs backstage at a ballet. Well, that explains why I feel so tired.

I didn't write those
Goodreads has taken some visible steps to eliminate the confusion over which books I have actually written. They apparently accepted my argument that I did not author a defense of the London charter (published in the 17th Century) or the manual for young farmers. Unfortunately, my relatively common name continues to cause some confusion, and my book list still includes "At the Ballet: On Stage, Backstage" and a couple of books related to "Iproperty." While these may be excellent books (I'm seriously intrigued to find out what goes on backstage at the ballet, aren't you?), they are not my books.

DiCarlo Vol. I giveaway
We're giving away five copies of DiCarlo: Buffalo's First Family of Crime, Volume I, through a Goodreads promotion. You can enter merely by clicking your mouse a couple of times and making sure Goodreads has your correct shipping address. (The program ends Nov. 2, 2013.)
The first mouse click should be on this link: Contest Link
Follow that up with a click on the "Enter to Win" button on the next screen.
There are no fees or obligations involved. However, we (and Goodreads) would appreciate it very much if winners took a few moments to post reviews of the book.
We've never used a giveaway promotion before. We're hoping that it helps get the word out about DiCarlo and also nets us a few positive reviews.
Best of luck!
