My new book of short stories, Rondo and Fugue for Two Pianos, is finally hot off the press, or reasonably warm off the press. I expect to sell a million copies, more or less (well, a LOT less) just as soon as someone, anyone, finds out it exists. My publisher thinks I should stand out on the street with a basket of my books and a little sign, but I've noticed the homeless don't buy many books. Barnes & Noble has it, the publisher has it (www.mainstreetrag.com), Amazon will when they get their act together. Meanwhile, I dream of literary heaven.

So pleased about the wonderful readers who have requested the Giveaway of my new book of short stories Rondo and Fugue for Two Pianos, due out shortly. I wish there could be free copies for all of them--except, of course, then no one would buy the book and I would have to return to my second profession, which is drinking martinis.
