I grew up in Billerica, Massachusetts where I received my elementary and high school education. I have a degree in Anthropology and History from the University of Massachusetts – Amherst. I wanted to be an Archaeologist!

I currently reside in Norwood, Massachusetts a beautiful little town southwest of the city of Boston. I live in a second floor apartment as part of a large old home built in the 1800’s. I wrote my first book, Who’s Been Sleeping In My Bed at a kitchen table in my living room overlooking the driveway and street.

Unlike the main character in my book, I don’t own a dog. But, I just know there is a Brittany out there waiting for me, but not while I live in an apartment! Until then, I have four dogs in my life who accompany me for ...more

I haven't really experienced writers block in that I'm not able to write. I pray before I write. I ask God to direct my thoughts and the story. I've had dilemmas and puzzled and worked out scenario in my mind over the course of a few days, but I don't think of that as writers block I think of it as working the problem. (less)

I come from a family with a very rich oral tradition of telling each other stories. It started with me telling my sister stories at bedtime and when my nieces and nephews came along I told them stories too. I enjoyed including them in the storyline and watching the delight and joy on their faces as I involve them in my story. Unfortunately, as a writer, I don't get to see my readers face as they read the story, so I welcome feedback. (less)

Have you ever had a person say to you, it must have been God’s will, or tell you to pray to know God’s will? I’ve often felt that people say this because they don’t know how to comfort you, or don’t know what else to say. I never drew much comfort from remarks, which directed me to look to God’s will.
