I'm thrilled that The Mountain Goddess the second novel in the Sadhana Trilogy, is a finalist in the fantasy category in the 20th Annual INDIES Book of the Year Awards. Foreword Magazine, the only media company completely devoted to independent publishing, announced the finalists selected from over 2,000 entries from university and independent presses.

Along with my first book, award-winner The Tigress and the Yogi, it brings India’s rich historical and mythological past to life. Set in the Buddha’s time, it follows Yasodhara, a warrior’s spirited daughter, as she masters yoga’s supernatural powers and captures the heart of Siddhartha, the prince destined to become the Buddha.


Book Three, which weaves together the fates of Dhara, the Buddha, and many other legendary and invented characters, will be published in 2019.
