Like everything else I do in life, I love variety -- and challenging myself in new ways. I see my third book (which I am already researching for) being more similar to Goodnight Sunshine.(less)

My wife and I modelled our wedding after that movie, and I've always loved how quirky both the movie and the couple were. I'm having a much harder time thinking of a favourite couple from a book. I might have to go with Ron and Hermione from Harry Potter, since I got to see their relationship develop over the course of seven books and one play. And I read the whole series quite recently, so they're still fresh in my mind...(less)

Thomas Merton
“Do not depend on the hope of results. You may have to face the fact that your work will be apparently worthless and even achieve no result at all, if not perhaps results opposite to what you expect. As you get used to this idea, you start more and more to concentrate not on the results, but on the value, the rightness, the truth of the work itself. You gradually struggle less and less for an idea and more and more for specific people. In the end, it is the reality of personal relationship that saves everything.”
