Trish Isabella Hopkins is an author, avid reader, dreamer, mystery solver, family legend, and dog mum/lover. She began reading on her own just before her 4th birthday. When she could hold a pencil to paper, her love of words turned into the power of creating sandcastles in the sky.

While Daphne du Maurier never tells readers the narrator's first name, the character is easy to fall in love with. Once we become enchanted with her charming character, we want her marriage to Maxim to grow strong and endure the ages.
