Beauty of Solitude
A break from the hectic schedule - few hours off from all that needs and screams for attention and withdraw within to retreat to silence ...to reflect, introspect....to be...just to be.
Spending time with self - to breath, to soak the warmth of the sun, to feel wind on the face and in the hair, to lounge on the swing in the garden, to stand under that old tree in the corner of the backyard and gaze nowhere. To walk in the courtyard covered with fallen autumn leaves and listening to the crackling sound under the feet, to watch the rook sitting silently on the antenna above neighbor's terrace, to smile at the pigeons fluttering on the roof.
To reflect, contemplate and mediate on the tranquility of background of everyday life, which is this silence and its everyday things - things that sustain life or are life itself - the source of all happenings and beings.To do nothing....but just to be...There is a certain serenity about doing nothing; just being...going along with the day...with life.

Song of Life
And long after I am gone
the earth will whisper my song
to the weary travelers passing by:
'Go on, oh traveler, you must go on
for darkness of life will light your path.
It's the darkest night that gives rest to the soul
for when morning comes, you must gather your wounds and walk along;
even if you are anxious and don't know where it goes you must never let love and hope leave your heart
for, my dear, life must go on...'
- An excerpt from the book Colours of Silence (avialable on Amazon)
