The Laundrymen – Still Selling!
Amazingly, both the ebook and printed versions of The Laundrymen are still selling nearly 5 years after it was launched. I can’t tell you how happy that makes me. Right now we’re in the middle of the Lockdown because of the CoronaVirus. I hope that if yopu read the book while you are furloughed, or at home because you are self-employed – or as a diversion from the fact that you are still having to work, that it does give you some escape from the day to day.
To everyone who has bought the book a heartfelt Thank You. And if you haven’t – but might, here’s the link: The Laundrymen by Mark Stretch on Amazon

Another Amazon Review
“Really enjoyed the storyline and the characters. Never quite knew what was coming next and I had to keep reading until I did. Some excellent twists and turns that defy guesswork or anticipation that keep you glued to the page. Waiting for the next book now.”

Amazon.com Review
Another great review of The Laundrymen, this time on the Amazon.com website.
“Honour amongst thieves. An entertaining tale of temptation over honesty, lust over reason and karmic justice. Engaging from the first, you are left hanging until the end.”

The Laundrymen – Still selling nearly two years after it was launched
Wow. Nearly 2 years after it first came out, people are still buying The Laundrymen. Most are buying the eBook off Amazon. (Here’s the link if you haven’t read it yet: http://amzn.to/2fyon6B). I have to say, I’m amazed – and very pleased. Especially as readers are coming from all over the world (last month the book was bought by readers in the USA, India, Japan and, of course, the UK).
So – a big thanks to all those who have bought it – and I really hope you enjoyed it. If any of you have any comments or feedback, feel free to leave a message below.
Cheers,
Mark

Amazon Review of The Laundrymen
Most recent review on Amazon.co.uk…
“Not a hard hitting tale of gangsters or wideboy City financiers but a tale of 2 men caught up in a scheme they never set out for. With a good descriptive story telling style the author keeps you turning the pages effortlessly to find out if the heroes are villains or just going along for the ride. My next step is to see what else Mark Stretch has written.”

3 months later – Still getting sales
Very pleased to report that, 3 months after release, we are still receiving sales for The Laundrymen – both the book and the Kindle e-book. Wondering whether to add an audio version now. Does anyone out there listen to audio-books?

First Royalty Payment Received!
With many things, the proof of success is if people are prepared to pay for it. So, when you’ve taken the time and trouble to write something, it’s nice when people buy it so that they can read it. And when the royalty payment arrives it is proof that people did this. So – thanks to everyone who has bought The Laundrymen, and thanks to Amazon / Createspace for providing the tools to get it published and available for sale. Here’s the link http://amzn.to/1OFFQkJ

2016 – The Laundrymen
So – it’s now 2016 and we’ll see what the New Year brings. It might not bring any new books from me unfortunately, as my wife Sara has decided that it’s unfair that I should be able to write books when she can’t because she’s so busy with her work. She has a book (called ‘Start’) virtually completed, but it has been like that for at least 10 years. Hopefully, she’ll get it finished and then allow me to carry on with some of the ideas I have for new novels.
