Ahhh, writer's block...

There are a few ways I deal with writer's block, but first, I always honor it. If I'm on a wicked deadline, I will just have to sit there and sweat it out. As much as it pains me, I always feel so much better when I'm all done.

If I'm not watching the clock, I'll usually take a break from the computer and go to the park and read a book or magazine...and just soak up some nature. I always say that the answers to life are in the park. Sometimes, I think that the words are in there, too!(less)

“Because I’m not willing to compromise when it comes to living in peace, I have chosen not to speak with my father. That may change one day, but today is not that day. I love him. I feel for him. I want the best for him and I often wish that things could be better between us. I always want to know where he is and that he is okay, but for now, the best I can offer him is prayer and love—from a distance.”
