How do you come up with ideas for your stories?

Shari Tharp I just have these random ideas sometimes throughout the day. Sometimes I see a picture/drawing and I make up this whole story based on this one pictur…moreI just have these random ideas sometimes throughout the day. Sometimes I see a picture/drawing and I make up this whole story based on this one picture. For example, the illustrator I was working with on my last book drew a picture that I didn't think was a good fit for the book we were working on. But it was such a cute, funny drawing (of an older female frog), that I made up this whole story about her life and I wrote it down. :)
