Writing to Music- Cats Edition
Well, I usually write to either music or YouTube videos. On the YouTube front it's video essays by Lindsay Ellis so often that she gets a shout out she doesn't even know about in the back of my books. Her videos are very informative and awesome and have helped me a lot. Otherwise, usual videos are from Linkara, The Cinema Snob, Nostalgia Critic, Illumaughtii, Dominic Noble, Maven of the Eventide (Elisa Hansen, she's an author on her so check out her awesome book The Company of Death!), and Mother's Basement. These channels have all had an influence in how I write and listening to them so please check them all out!
Anyway, music wise I usually listen to film and tv soundtracks. I was on a very heavy Westworld kick until I saw Cats. Now I'm listening the the soundtrack for Cats while I write. Favorite songs are Jellicle Song for Jellicle Cats, Skimbleshanks the Railway Cat, Memory, and Mr Mistofelees. So expect the next few books to be pretty wacky!

So Many Books
Well, I’m having a busy week. For one thing, I’m trying to catch up on reviewing all the books I’ve read/reread this year. And I don’t mean just giving out stars. I intend to write a review for each book. I know that’s what I like seeing on my books so that’s what I want to do for other authors. Currently, among my currently reading list I am focusing on three books. I am rereading Revan, again. I am also really into two new books, Museum of Thieves and Lever Templar. Both are awesome so far. Of the three books though, I think Museum of Thieves might be the first finished. Although that copy of the first Vampirates Book is begging for a reread.
Author-wise, I’ve been working on a few projects. Akiyama Quest #1 is still being edited. I have a newer project I’m working hard on called Epona and the Magic Horse. And I’ve started a top secret project I plan to pitch to an agent because I want to try traditional publishing with this one.
Thanks to everyone checking out this blog and if you haven’t already, check out my books and also check out the books I’ve reviewed. I’d love to talk about books with you!
