As an amateur historian and debut novelist, it is my aim to use my admittedly limited knowledge in history along with my imagination to weave up stories of less sung, yet, no less formidable heroes and heroines from Indian history.

Although based on some real events on people, it is important to note that my works are works of fiction. I'd like to see them as works serving as ballads and odes, where exaggerations, omissions and figments of imagination are allowed to pay tribute to a larger-than-life personality.
