Completed Projects.
Hello Dolls,
I find it odd that I haven’t updated my blog in seven months, but that’s what this site just told me. So with that being said, I suck.
Now that this years is winding down, here’s an update.
House of Rising Phoenix Series:
Breaking Steel (Book 1) Released in August 2016
https://www.amazon.com/Breaking-Steel-House-Rising-Phoenix-ebook/dp/B01JWZ0BS4
Shaping Silk (Book 2)
RELEASING: December 24th, 2016
Steeling Silk (Book 3)
TBA: Release Date
Now I am working on the third book for the series, but I’ve got lots of projects started. I cannot guarantee a release date for Steeling Silk. I have two WIPs right now that may steal my time and thoughts. They are going to be very much like Fated Love feel. I am also returning to school in January, sooooo, things may slow down. But I promise I will do better about keeping you all updated.

#amwriting
Hello out there world….
I have been reading some reviews lately and 90% of them for Fated Love all have the same common theme… Will there be another book? Will you write the ending? How could you possibly end it there? Well, my dolls, here’s my answer. Read the letter from me at the ending. That is only half of a joke. The truth is when I decided to write this book, I knew from the very beginning I was going to end it with a big mind f*ck…
Now why on Earth would I do that to readers that invested their time and energy into reading my words? The truth is because I wanted this book to stay with my readers. I wanted to make them think and the best books that I have ever read ended and left me wondering the how’s, the why’s, the what the f*ck’s. I wanted this book to haunt my readers because it haunts me day in and day out.
With all that being said, I struggle daily with more stories, scenes and chapters that surround Addison and the band. I’ve contemplated writing a spin off, involving Casey and where she fits into the ugly cycle that surrounds Addison and how she attempts to have her own life. These are all just ideas and the reason I’m telling you this is because I am still struggling right along with you.
But at the end of the day, IF I were to write anything that takes place after Addison returns to tour than I would have to decide her fate. There’s no way of logically avoiding it. I didn’t want to do that because this is real life and I want people to decide the ending their heart wants. Maybe she influences Tabor to live a clean and sober life with her. Maybe she returns to tour and continues her relationship with Ray and her parents? Maybe she finds a healthy balance and learns to find beauty in the simple things in life? Maybe her first night back on tour she gets loaded with cocaine and Tabor and dies of a heart attack? These are all scenarios that could possibly take place and I don’t want to decide what she does next.
So for the time being, there will be no sequel. I am open to anyone that wants to talk about the book and the possibilities find me on facebook at http://www.facebook.com/authorbreemckennedy or drop me a message on goodreads http://www.goodreads.com/Authorbreemck
Until next time,
XOXO Bree

Breaking Steel….
Every now and again, I stop writing just to make a teaser before I forget how much I love something I wrote. Here’s a sneaky peeky at my current W.I.P. FYI: This is my first book my husband has been beta reading for me. This an exciting project mostly because he’s involved. I hope every one has a great weekend and I look forward to posting more of my uncontainable excitement over this future release!
XOXO,
Bree
Working, Writing, Wishing
Hi folks,
I have finally been able to get my head out of Addison’s world and moved on. I’m working on a new duet titled Breaking Steel and Shaping Silk. I am 34k words into Steel and moving along pretty well for only just beginning a little more than a month ago. I really am looking forward to getting this book out to all my fans and new readers alike. So with that being said, I will probably be nonexistent in social media for a little whole. Just know that progress is being made in my absence!
XOXO,
Bree

On second thought…
I swore that Fated Love was going to be a one time deal! I convinced myself that if I pushed through all 119,000 words I would have nothing left to say. Her story would be told, my underlying moral lesson would be seen and I could move on to fun, sexy stories… Ha! I swear Addison is standing beside me flipping me the bird because I just cannot get rid of her.
I’ve literally been paralyzed in the writting department by that stuborrn broad begging me not give up on her story… I’m torn folks! Do I continue on even though I swore to myself and readers that it would never happen? ( I did make that perfectly clear in my letter at the end of Fated Love, right?) or do I give in to temptation?
Always,
Bree xoxo

Sneak Peeks
Editing
I just finished “Fated Love” last week and I am currently rough editing it before I submit it to my editor for clean it up duty! I have no release date at the moment as this is a 112k word novel. I have a lot to read and limited hours in my day.
Much Love,
Bree xoxo
