A quick update that Dark Cheer: Cryptids Emerging (Volume Silver), the second cryptid collection from Improbable Press, will now be released May 4, 2022.

My story, GRIM UP NORTH, will be in Volume Silver. The story is a cute slice of fluff set in Durham, UK, and featuring a very tired barista and the Grim on their commute.

Today sees the release of FOXEN BLOOM, a queer fantasy romance about magic, hope, and eating your enemies.

Fenton: forest god, heart full claws sharp, doesn’t like shoes or capitalism
Prior: cinnamon roll, believes in reckless self-endangerment, easy crier

The deal: Fenton will save Prior’s sister, providing Prior helps kill Fenton’s sibling in turn.

Except (naturally) it gets a bit more complicated than that…

So let me tell you about FOXEN BLOOM.

FOXEN BLOOM is a fantasy romance about a forest god and his accidental acolyte. It’s about the things we’d do for family. It’s about finding similarities in differences, pining for the one you’re standing next to, and occasionally having to rip people apart with your sentient shadow, because stuff happens and keeps! on! happening!! It’s about, for some reason, goats.

It’s a good time, is what I’m saying.

My sci-fi novella, Red Between the Lines, is now available under the Tenebrosity Press umbrella. The novella is about Wynfield, a grumpy cyborg, having a no good very bad day, and playing a slightly explody game of doctor with Yeven, a stand-in at the local clinic.

The novella was previously published with NineStar Press and there are no changes in the second edition. The new cover is by Creative Paramita.
