Divya Johry is an Economics Honors graduate from St. Stephen’s College, Delhi and she pursued her Masters in Scriptwriting from The Media School, Bournemouth University, UK. Her stories were shortlisted for NFDC Children’s Screenwriters’ Lab and Top 100, Mumbai Mantra- CineRise 2016. She was a finalist for New Voices Fellowship for Screenwriters organized by Asia Society India. Her favorite kind of coffee is not too different from her favorite kind of stories- a hint of white, a little black, mildly sweet, somewhat bitter, refreshing, indulging- a fine combination of opposites. Divya writes the blog, The Hungry Typewriter, where she discusses unusual and innovative ways to generate story and character ideas for storytellers.
