The Nature of Alien Attacks

This was too good not to also share here: Jeff Goldblum’s answer to his thoughts on the nature of an alien attack, should it happen.

My thoughts precisely, Mr. Goldblum, and one INITIATE and the other two books in myD’Andari’i Cycletrilogy will attempt to answer.

(Pay special attention to minutes 2:28 – 04:10 for what I’m talking about)

Antarctic Almanac – Aurora Australis – Part 2 of 3: Myths

Auroras have captured the imagination of peoples from ancient times all the way through the current era. Although the advent of modern science and technology has allowed us to observe the auroras in ways unprecedented…

Antarctic Almanac – Aurora Australis – Part 1 of 3: Discovery

The Northern Lights, or Aurora Borealis, is a phenomenon most of you have probably heard of…and maybe a few lucky of you have even gotten to see! It is my dream this year (probably next year though) to go to Iceland during the peak season and witness them in all their splendor myself.

Weddell Seal 1

And so bright-looking!

Weddell Seal 2

(I love how they look like they’re posing in this photo; the mom’s all “What up? Nothing to see here, we’re just cute little seals, doing our thing. Yeah, that’s right.”)

I have always, always for as far back as I can remember, been an animal lover…especially...

Ground Zero

Zero degrees west, and ninety degrees south that is – the heart of Antarctica.

Antarctica has always been a place of romance for me – of possibilities and endless expanses ripe for the imagination to traverse. A place of infinite beauty and profound contemplation. It is a place of deep time reflected by the eons-old stars above and the still greatly-unexplored depths of the ocean below. Whales, seals, plankton, and sea life that shelter along its shores and in its waters have done so for year...

In the beginning…

Greetings!

And congratulations on finding my blog, Internet space-time travelers! I know it wasn’t easy: between the EM band of pop music landmines stretching from Earth to Pluto and beyond, the blackhole of Youtube videos exerting their irresistible gravitational force, and the ever-present Facebook drama playing out at the border of reality and hyperbole on the fringes of space, the journey was arduous, awesome, and sometimes downright adorable. (Because let’s not forget the omnipresent arm...
