I grew up in the Pacific Northwest, where I spent my life reading and exploring the seemingly endless nature.

After a stint in college, I realized that spending my life climbing the corporate ladder terrified me, and quickly turned to what I love most; painting and writing (my degree has nothing to do with either).

I am a lover of nature and science, and the universe is both on a grand scale. Which, along with many a night spent staring at the night sky, are what truly inspire me.

My work, both written and painted, tries to reflect that. That and my personal struggle to understand what it all means...life, existence, the universe...or even if it means anything at ...more

Serge Alexandr I generally don't get writers block in the sense that I don't have any ideas, however, when I'm stuck on a particular detail, I put the computer away …moreI generally don't get writers block in the sense that I don't have any ideas, however, when I'm stuck on a particular detail, I put the computer away and go on with my life. Usually, it doesn't take more than an hour or so for some connection in my brain to send me running back to the screen. (less)
