I was born and raised in Sheffield, England and I still remain there today, living with my amazing husband, three beautiful monsters and one very furry baby…a huskita called Elsa. My monsters teach me things every single day, whether it be all the words to the latest Ed Sheeran song or how to get cherryade out of a cream sofa…there’s never a dull moment.

I have many jobs- wife, mother, nurse, cook, cleaner, reader, writer, baker, teacher and occasionally a tissue (though not necessarily in that order.) I'm looking forward to bringing you my debut novel Grace on April 15th.

I walk away and I leave it for a few days, then I go back and reread from a few chapters before and it reinvigorates me, the words begin to flow again and I manage to get finished what I before, thought was impossible.(less)

Today has been one of those days...not one of those "bad" days, more one of those "weird" kind of days. It's been long and it's been busy but it has been unbelievably exciting. First off, I was interviewed by my fellow GenZ author Chris Smolinski, who I then in turn, interviewed right back! It was really fun and I enjoyed the short, sharp questions. To the point but insightful in a unique way. I t Read more of this blog post »

This was a very cute, typical romance novel. I really enjoyed the characters and not once did any of it feel forced or rushed. It was filled with surprises and by the end I was smiling big! That last chapter…perfection.

I loved Birthday Girl and enjoyed Credence so I knew I would enjoy this one but I do feel this might have crept up on my favourite Penelope Douglas reads.

Love me a good cowboy romance. This is sweet, nothing too deep but has some great representation for ADHD in adulthood in there. Really enjoyed it and can’t wait to start the next one.

Again I enjoyed this story - I even really liked the insights we got into Warner and the revelations too. There were moments of heartbreak that I truly felt and I just know this series is going to pull me apart before it puts me back together again. ...more

I loved getting insight into Warners mind, his thoughts of Juliette and getting a little bit into why he is how he is. I think it sets things up brilliantly for the next book. A nice little palate cleanser before diving back into the main story.

This was an easy read - very different, the prose, the formatting made for something unique however I really enjoyed it. It was fairly fast paced, I enjoyed Juliette as a character and even understood a lot of her fears etc.
